The Early Years Foundation Stage

Our curriculum at our Day Care in Leicester, is designed to teach and educate your child through fun and engaging activities and to learn through their play. With the support of our key person approach and working closely with parents, this gives the best possible to start to a child’s life.

The Early Years Foundation Stage consists of a statutory framework for the Early Years which sets the standards for learning development and care for children from birth to five years. The practice guidance documents support staff in assessing a child’s progress and helps them to provide the best learning experiences for all babies and children.

The Aim

The aim of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to learn through high quality play experiences and that they will be supported through this journey by their relationship with the key person assigned to them at Hamilton Nursery Leicester.

Key person system at our Day Care in Leicester

The key person at our Day Care in Leicester, will plan key experiences based on your child’s interests and stage of development and will observe and monitor your child. Such a welcoming place and very polite staff. My daughter is always happy to attend the nursery, updates regularly on the app for parents who worry like me constantly which is very comforting. Overall great nursery wouldn’t go elsewhere 👍🏻

Very nice staff, nice environment, my son is always so happy when he comes to Hamilton nursery, and I’m always getting updates on what he’s doing through the day which eases my mind, couldn’t recommend a better nursery!

My daughter has been here since the beginning of December and I couldn’t fault it at all! She absolutely loves being here and has developed so much! I get updates daily of my daughters day and we love to come home and discuss about what she has been learning and how much fun she has had!
